A Neuro-Education Nonprofit

Briding the gap between kindergartens and Neuroscience

Who We Are.

A Nonprofit Educational Company

Neurogarden is an educational service provider and training company operating on the Nonprofit Scale in Amman, Jordan. We are an operational Non Profit, meaning we plan and carry out boots-on-the-ground projects to accomplish our objectives. Neurogarden is a specialized body of scientists, academics and early education researchers that work together and with the community on creating and providing neuro-education programs to better inform care givers, educators and policy makers involved in Early Childhood Care And Education.

What We Do

Briding the gap

Our services include a variety of educational experiences that are carefully designed and tailored to provide a model of how neuroscience can be incorporated into the training of early childhood caregivers and educators. .

We focus on facilitating educational neuroscience courses and socio-emotional workshops  along with raising awareness on the science of early brain development - through interactive seminars and scientific initiatives - to ultimately inspire and empower non scientific communities to take charge of their role in optimizing the former years of brain development.

What We Beleive in

Early childhood, which spans the period up to 8 years of age, is critical for cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. During these years, a child’s newly developing brain is highly plastic and responsive to change as billions of integrated neural circuits are established through the interaction of genetics, environment and experience. Optimal brain development requires a stimulating environment, adequate nutrients and social interaction with attentive caregivers. (UNICEF 2013)

The future of any society depends on its ability to foster the health and well-being of the next generation. Stated simply, today’s children will become tomorrow’s citizens, workers, and parents. When we invest wisely in children and families, the next generation will pay that back through a lifetime of productivity and responsible citizenship. When we fail to provide children with what they need to build a strong foundation for healthy and productive lives, we put our future prosperity and security at risk. (The Science of Early Childhood Development. 2007)

Teaching Tools

How We Can Help

  • Live Trainings

We provide live webinars and zoom sessions for groups of people involved in public policy of child mental health, such as parents and teachers in kindergartens.

  • Parenting Webinars

We focus on providing online and offline learning experiences releated to brain science.

  • Prerecorded Summits

Fully Arabic Neuroscience and childhood summit. Check for more details below !

Our Programs

  • Neuro-Education

We provide entertaining  and visual presentations that incorporate the basic key points in neuroscience. When we work with teachers or parents, we design educational key points that link the science of early brain development with practical tips and parenting advice. In this model we help our target audience understand the basic funtional anatomy of neurons and the organization of those neurons into large networks that regulate behaviour and body function.

  • Positive Parenting

Neurogarden webinars, workshops and coaching are built on the fundamentals of mindfulness-based stress reduction accompanied with cognitive and physiological tools for moms and teachers to explore this lifestyle first with themselves and then with their families and children. We teach our participants how to integrate this with their day-to-day interactions with toddlers.

  • Child Mental Health

All our programs aim to provide care givers and educators with the tools and resources to optimize the cognitive, social and psychological wellbeing of the children in their lives. We incorporate care givers with motivation and the map to make their children happier and smarter !
